Public Art Projects

Brian is a muralist and sculptor. He got his start in Fort Lauderdale Florida in 2016 bringing his work to the public eye. His biggest project was "The Wine Watch" where he completed 3 large murals and a wine cave installation over the course of 5 years (2016-2021). He also has 2 Sculptures along 13th street in Fort Lauderdale, which is known for its love of the arts as you cruise down along.  His most recent sculpture was selected for the Inaugural Sculpture trail in Eatonton, Ga in 2024.

Meet The Team

The wine watch project started with the opportunity to paint mural on the parking lot side of the building at the end of 2016. The design began with a barrel room that transitions into a vineyard scene at sunset. After about three months, the interior of what would become the wine bar was ready to be painted like a stone wall with a harmonious palette with the theme of the store.

The next phase came 2 years later in 2018. The owners mentioned they needed a welder and I volunteered for the job. It took a year to build, and to this date The Wine Cave installation is the largest project I've worked on. Welded rebar, steel mesh, tar paper, and cardboard make up the armature, with a hard shell expanding foam covering every inch of the walls from the floor to the ceiling (including the ceiling!). I then carved every rock and every crevice had to be painted black. Then, using an air brush, I painted the rocks to give the room a dark cave vibe.  the project wasn't completed until I built 44 aluminum racks to hold the display bottles.

The following year I painted another mural on the back of the building where people gather during large events.  The design consists of elements related to the festivities at The Wine Watch including a plethora of food and seemingly infinite bottles of wine.  I also make 13 sound diffusing cork boards in the shape of wine producing countries that hang in the wine bar, which were completed in 2021.
